My b’day this year
Being a foodie, my birthday present the last couple of years has been dinner at a Michelin star restaurant. Last year we went to Oud Sluis, the year before to Beluga and this year we’re going to l’Auberge de l’Ill. I can hardly wait!

About
In 1999, although trained as an economist and marketeer, I started working with an application called Crystal Reports (I don't even remember the version). I realised then that what I wanted to be was a, even though I don't think the term was already coined back then, Business Intelligence specialist.
Over the years my training and experience has amassed and expanded into various fields of expertise and technologies. I am currently working as a BI consultant and trainer for
IIPS,ACN, Intenzz with a focus on SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos and Microsoft SQL Server technology.I am particularly interested in the technical aspects of Business Intelligence, i.e. how to implement and deliver a well performing BI solution, and not so much how to get it right from a business perspective.
This is a personal weblog, and the opinions expressed here are not those of my employer.
