Wanting to preserve the old URLs, so people or search engines won’t get 404 File Not Found errors, I stumbled upon a great article by Steven Hargrove. This article explains quite well how to go about doing so, with the use of just about any language you can think of.

I’ve decided to keep more personal stuff private. Instead of protecting entries with a password I decided to look into other solutions. Anything of which I feel shouldn’t be shared with the general public is available only to friends. It’s a plugin I found via one of the blogs I visit quite regularly. I’ll be tinkering with it a little bit before I allow people to register.
