A cool MS video
Now, I’m not a Microsoft fanboy or anything of the sorts, but while I was surfing the Mobile section of MSDN it popped up on my screen, and I really like it. Especially the song.
I’m actually thinking of buying the missus a Zune, just for the sheer fact that not many people have got one in Europe. Shoot me!
Impressive stuff by Microsoft
I saw this a while back and thought it was something really cool: Microsoft’s Surface.
Cool
Ritech BioSlimDisk
I’ve been looking for a USB stick for some time now. I tend to store documents I need a lot either on my phone or on Writely, but that can sometimes be a problem, when, for example, there’s no internet connection available.
Quite some time ago I read about this stick in a computer magazine and the reviewer was quite positive about it. At least, more positive than the other USB sticks out there (they were all sticks that used biometrics to protect the data on stored on it).
The points they found to be a plus were:
- Flawless fingerprint recognition
- No drivers or extra software needed to connect to hook it up to your (or any other for that matter) computer and thus not leaving a footprint
They only mentioned two drawbacks, namely the fact that it’s quite bulky and the fact that the encryption method is not known.
Let me add another drawback, its price: a staggering €249 for a mere 512 MB.
The new iPhone
Damn, I just bought myself a new phone about a month ago! I’m quite happy with it, but after having watched the following video I must say that I prefer the iPhone to my T-Mobile branded TyTN. The hardware of the TyTN I do like a lot, it’s just that when it comes to usability the iPhone seems much more intuitive than Windows Mobile 5.
I reckon yet another battle lost by Microsoft…
