Jealous of Lizzie E

In my search for a hotel room in Illhaeusern I came across this blog. Man, she really likes her food it seems. And she’s been to restaurants that are still on my wish list, too!

Anyway, I added her to my feed reader as she’s already given me loads of ideas for places to visit while going to the West Coast in October. Keep those reviews coming, Lizzie!

  In 1999, although trained as an economist and marketeer, I started working with an application called Crystal Reports (I don't even remember the version). I realised then that what I wanted to be was a, even though I don't think the term was already coined back then, Business Intelligence specialist.

  Over the years my training and experience has amassed and expanded into various fields of expertise and technologies. I am currently working as a BI consultant and trainer for IIPS, ACN, Intenzz with a focus on SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos and Microsoft SQL Server technology.

  I am particularly interested in the technical aspects of Business Intelligence, i.e. how to implement and deliver a well performing BI solution, and not so much how to get it right from a business perspective.
