Religion
I’m not a religious person, but I found this holy book that is really inspiring.
Edit: If you don’t see anything then you have not seen the light yet.

Le Auberge de Chavannes, update
This morning I was flicking through a feed I’d set up on Google’s Blogsearch with news on le Auberge de Chavannes and apparently it had lost its star at the beginning of this year. I then emailed the tourist board of a nearby town and they promptly replied to me that le Auberga has ceased to exist as of the first of July. What a shame.
What’s happened to le Auberge de Chavannes, Jura, France?
Last year and the year before I had lunch at one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Since I’m going on a holiday in a few weeks time and heading to Italy, I thought I’d pass by on my way there to have a Carte Blanche menu and spend the night in one of the rooms of their adjoining Hôberge de Chavannes.
The restaurant and hotel are run by Nicolas Pourcheresse and his wife Monique, or perhaps I should say were run, because when you click the link to their site you’ll notice that there’s nothing there. Worse even, I emailed to make a reservation, but until now no reply. I then decided to send them a fax, but to no avail. My French if horrible, but since I REALLY wanted to have dinner at their place I decided to ring them, but all I get is a funny tone, like the number is not working any more.
I am starting to fear the worst. Does anybody know what has happened to the place? It would be horrible if it has ceased to exist!
