Busting out in the Big Apple

Normally I’m not one for posting NSFW content. But since it’s related to my upcoming trip to New York (*nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink*) I’m posting it anyway. A beautiful series of photographs portraying topless women in New York. The ladies in question are consciously portrayed in a non-sexual way, to create the image of a world free of shame. A beautful underlying thought in my opinion, but, of course, I couldn’t help quickly glancing over some of the boobs to see how they’re hanging .

In 1999, although trained as an economist and marketeer, I started working with an application called Crystal Reports (I don't even remember the version). I realised then that what I wanted to be was a, even though I don't think the term was already coined back then, Business Intelligence specialist.

Over the years my training and experience has amassed and expanded into various fields of expertise and technologies. I am currently working as a BI consultant and trainer for ~~IIPS~~ with a focus on SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos and Microsoft SQL Server technology.

I am particularly interested in the technical aspects of Business Intelligence, i.e. how to implement and deliver a well performing BI solution, and not so much how to get it right from a business perspective.
